The original discussion got way too long for a single page, let's carry on here. :)

I'm currently self-quarantining at my summerhouse due to recent travel, but otherwise business as usual (sans training): work remotely during the day; read a book, watch a movie or study jiujitsu footage in the evening while sipping some whiskey or wine. Gonna heat up the sauna again today and enjoy a plunge to the 7°C fresh lake water. I can still go out for a paddle or a run if I feel like it; I'm isolated remotely enough that even seeing another person (other than inside a car) is unlikely. Not the worst quarantine there is. 5 days to go!

I trained judo yesterday. Probably gonna do the orange belt exam some time soon. Taught nogi today, as an absolute coincidence - scarfhold escapes.

Bwahaha...I did that. I started that thread. It was no accident, either. All part of the plan.

Trained the doggo for trails. Basic obedience, worked up to walking behind me. Easy for him and he got rewarded with a free run and lots of treats. We also trained him to search for cash later in the evening and he actually found it really easily. We are going to be rich! :D Also prepared for a trip to Ikea with the wife.

Send help!

Good day everyone!
Working as usual. Tired from teaching last night. Ended up being a late night at the academy.
Waiting for my lunch to arrive. Having one of my favourite lunches. What we call "bakeria" here.
Basically italian bakery hot table food. Probably have some form of pasta and a chicken parm with a side of veg and a panini.
I wish I could have some wine with it but it is frowned upon at work. LOL!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Saturday!
Just hanging out at home today. Having some taco's for lunch from a local burrito joint.
Finished conditioning a Chromexcel Leather jacket (Aero Leather Teamster) that I have. I used Saphir conditioner for oily leathers. First time using it. Curious to see if it makes a difference. So far it looks amazing.
My wife is making a Puerto Rican snack called "pasteles". (William Murphy knows what they are) They are very much like a tamale but instead of a corn base we used green banana and yucca (cassava) root. They are stuffed with pork usually but I do not eat pork so she is using chicken instead. They are friggin delicious although they look like someone took a dump in a banana leaf. LOL!
Anyway, have a great weekend!!

Happy Sunday folks! Rest day but I'll probably still do the treadmill today.
Definitely having some Irish cider with my lunch. Rain day here so it is perfect for the weather.
Hope you all have a relaxing day!

Finished off an overall great weekend with the latest episode of the Mandalorian. I survived Ikea, had some lazy but good rolls while visiting a local gym, some great waffles, pizza & sushi, good times with friends.... And I bought a new bike. Gonna take it out for run in the morning.

Hit the trails, then hit the weights. Sold one arm wrestling class to a relative. Grappling isn't paying the bills, so gotta do something else. :D

Good Morning!! TGIF!!
Just in the office this morning waiting for the drama of the day.
Great weather here in Ontario today. Going to be unseasonably warm and I welcome that.
Tonight I am going for my Hot/Cold immersion therapy. Been really focusing on the Wim Hof Method alot lately (breathing and cold showers etc)
Seems to make me feel really good so I think I'll keep going with it.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great Friday!!
Cheers!!

Good Morning! Not much happening here today. Woke up and did my Wim Hof breathing.
Had a great breakfast my wife prepared for me and lots of coffee. (Eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and a bagel)
Watched some live cams over in Greece, Italy and Spain and probably going to polish a pair of Solovair boots today.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Gi’s gi’s and more gi’s. The loaner gi’s at my academy fill up the bed of a truck. My local laundromat hates me because we test the equipments “heavy duty” label. Oh well, i rather tear up their machines than my own. Lol. Jitslife!

A little bit of biking and tuning the suspension. I wanna be a black belt in trail riding way more than a black belt in grappling.

Ha - similar, except for the last week or so I've just been flicking between BBC and Sky News whenever they talk about something other than the US election. Even better watching on iPlayer, as then I can skip past all the non-US election news. :P

Today, probably less news watching, more class-prepping. We're back in lockdown in England, so it's a return to teaching over Zoom. Also listening to a lot of Monga Santamaria and Sylvester (I'm always on the hunt for more funky tunes for my BJJ class playlists).

Just spent several hours going through every post on those humongous intro threads on the main forum. Soooo many people who otherwise never post! Nice that there is at least one thread most people feel comfortable popping onto, even if that's the last post a lot of them make. ;)

Right? It seems a lot of people are eager to get verified, but once they do, they are no longer active. Makes me wonder why they were so eager in the first place.

Ugh, Monday. I was asked to work this weekend, but chose not to. I’m now thinking if I did, I wouldn’t have been dreading today so much.
