I’ve been trying to find a cool way to display my belts or even one I can purchase. Most are very plain that don’t have that wow factor. Anyone who has cool ideas or links?

This is how I did mine. Got the hanging shelves from amazon.
Not the greatest but it is what it is.
I gave all of my coloured belts to students, what means they are still in use.
In our gym we have a bokken (a wooden sword like on Davids picture above to see) at the wall where (only!) the BB training in our gym can leave their belt hanging until next session.
….so to speak: a kind of public display.💁🏻♂️

I'm with you on this one. I give mine away as well. I think some of the students really appreciate having an old worn in belt, and it being the teacher's can make it special. My walls are covered with book shelves, folk art and musical instruments, so there's really no room for a belt display.
I saw this one online. I liked the simplicity of it, and circular symbolism. They make shadow boxes you can buy on Etsy to store them in. I'll probably buy one at some point.

I did this with my belts from another style I train in. I used the shadow box and added in patches we use. Nice display!

Like a few others here, I use my training partners as belt displays, it's pretty cool. I tend to buy nicer belts than our standard academy ones, and when I graduate to a new rank, I give the previous grade belts to whoever needs or wants them. It's nice to see my old belts around my friends' waists.

Same here. I've dumped my old belts on top of a cabinet at our gym. There they wait for the next person promoted.
Never really thought of doing a display. To be honest, I've been at it in different styles since I was 10 (?) and BJJ is the first and only I ever stuck with this long.
I've framed my CG certificat, but couldn't tell you where it is right now. My purple and brown are around as well. My blue went around a student's waist years ago.
My Dad had made me a shadow box displaying an antique knife with arrow heads but the knife was too heavy. So I modified it and kept the arrow heads. He thought it was cool👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
