Oli Geddes died yesterday.
He lost his last fight against the cancer.
It is so sad.
Oli was an OG of BJJ in GB.
I learned a lot from him and his JJ will live on in my halfguard-game as long as I will be on the mats.
Over and beyond we lost a great character, teacher, inspiration.

I never had the privilege to meet him in person, but had many messaging conversations with him about Jiu Jitsu. It seemed that he was always happy to answer my questions. :(
Very sad loss. He contributed immensely to our community. Teaching, reffing, and had an extensive competitive carreer. Never heard any bad word about him. Had a few run ins with him, and was always amazed by how down to earth he was, and a genuinely good guy. He will be missed.
