Noticed last Thursday morning, got a massage which made it was worse, so pretty sure it's not a trigger point or anything but a pinched nerve, got a dr's appointment on Friday, possible steroid shot to see if that works if not better by Friday.
Also, might get some imaging done if they don't break the bank as pretty much everything from my neck to elbows is destroyed in several ways.
The funny thing is, the Wednesday night before we were working on some Gi spinning neck strangles and I'm pretty sure that's what aggravated it and an actual chiropractor was the one who actually did my neck in during practice, but I don't really want to try any chiropractic stuff. Not sure I trust in that stuff.
Definitely not going to leave it uncorrected, I do well with pain, but I can't really function like this and have no desire to keep taking motrin.
"One needs to be careful to get some nerve conditions treated, as left unchecked, they can result in irreversible progressive neurological wasting. I have had some students that ended up with a skeletal limb after a decade or so. His was an entrapped ulnar nerve, left uncorrected. Those are outlying cases, zebra's so to speak. But, they happen."
THIS.
Same exact situation at the gym I train at except it was the radial nerve on both of our guys. Effected arm completely shrunk and they typically have to "monkey" grip.
I actually have a scale that shows the muscle mass in each arm and other body parts, so I will be checking that weekly, right arm is already less as I've had basically a partially torn bicep for the past 10 years that was never fixed
