Hy! My name is Mirco. I am just an everyday dude with average BJJ Skills, 48 years of age, family man, professional PT/sports instructor in law enforcement, professional defensive tactics and arrest & control tactics Instructor/ LEO , former SRT member and part time Jiu Jitsu instructor after duty of a small, recreational, family friendly Jiu Jitsu Team in Schwerte in the state North Rhine Westphalia - Germany. I have been training in various Combat Sports, Martial arts and self defense systems since the year 2000, from Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Ving Tsun Kung Fu, Filipino Arnis, Krav Maga/ Kapap, Boxing, Crazy Monkey Defense, etc… I started training in Luta Livre first and no Gi grappling consistently in July of 2010 but transitioned shortly after to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the Gi, too and got promoted to BJJ blue belt in September 2014. In October 2018 i was promoted to BJJ purple belt. Almost 6,5 years later, after training and teaching consistently minimum 3x a week plus privates and seminars, in march 2025, I surprisingly have been promoted to BJJ brown belt. I am definitely not a professional Jiu Jitsu coach, but a passionate „hobby“ BJJ instructor, who loves to learn, train, share and teach this amazing art and sport. The main focus of our small, recreational BJJ team is first and foremost staying fit physically and mentally, just having fun learning, sparring and rolling to shake the stress off after a hard day at work in a positive environment with likeminded people.
