I prefer to keep sharpening the basics in terms of technique, movement and structure rather than worrying about variations of technique. Because by doing so, the sensitivity to see various opportunities will be sharper, and the technique variations will come by themselves. Of course, the technique variations that come will later be executed with a strong structure, have high accuracy and are unstoppable.
