I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way through the galaxy.
I started grappling around 1993 after watching UFC 1. Me and some friends would meet at my buddys house and do rounds using an old Judo book "Judo and Self Defense by E.G. Bartlett" as a guide. Then years later I would take a Japanese Jiu Jitsu class in 2004 and earn a black belt in it in 2006. I started supplementing my grappling with stuff from Submissions 101 Youtube channel and from some Brazillian Jiu Jitsu seminars. I did a couple of amature MMA matches and then I pretty much quit traiining and would roll once in a while with friends to show them some things. Then in March of 2018 I finally started taking a real Brazillian Jiu Jitsu class. I wish I had started sooner, but better late than never.
