Lineage: Steven Campbell

I used to go to Judo with my father when I was 8 years old. Due to other activities coming in to my life i stopped going but I picked it back up again In my twenties. Judo was so far away from my home and at that time the UFC was bringing submissions and BJJ to the forefront of combat sports. I search for a club close to me and I was lucky enough to be close to Steven Campbell who had just set up his own club. I started with Steven and my judo made me confident but that all went away when we hit the floor and I was tapping repeatedly. I moved to Madrid 2017 and I was training under a Brazilian black belt, shortly after he went back to Brazil and I was offered to teach by the gym owners. Unfortunately the remaining team members didn't want to continue under me and they didn't return. This meant I only had one student my girlfriend. After calling some of the other students on the fringe of the social circles I slowly began to build a team. Now we have a team of 20 across two gyms and and I am grateful for all the guys who train and compete under me. If you visit Madrid and want to train look us up everyone is welcome!
