As a child, I was always fascinated by martial arts, but I didn't start training seriously until I was 17. I practiced Kimura Shukokai Karate from 2004 to 2008.
My Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) journey began at the end of 2009 at Pankration Gym in Hamina, where I continued training until the end of 2022. In 2021–2022, I also trained occasionally at Dojo in Helsinki.
At the end of 2012, I traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and trained there for two months at Ricardo Vieira's gym.
In December 2022, I moved to Porvoo and started training at Sports Academy No. 1. Unfortunately, since June 2023, I haven't been able to train much due to health issues.
