I started my grappling journey back in 2000 starting in BJJ, where I was promoted to blue belt. I then transitioned to catch-as-catch-can submission wrestling under the legendary Roy Wood at the Snakepit in Wigan. I trained there consistently and was awarded my Snakepit Level 1. I have since ventured back to the gi on the odd occasion but my main training is all no-gi.
