I've been training in traditional JJ since 1980 and I'm currently an 8th Dan. I started my journey in BJJ under Trevor Birmingham in 2015 and really enjoy the competitions, just wish there were more older guys competing as organisers think its fine to just drop you down some brackets and put you in with some ripped 30 year olds.. but I value my joints to much..
