Started Japanese Jujitsu in June 2004. Received Nidan in Japanese Jujitsu (Toshu Kakuto Kempo Jujitsu) in November 2012. Started training BJJ in November of 2006, while simultaneously training in Japanese Jujitsu to better understand the intricacies of the Brazilian newaza. I fell in love with BJJ and never turned back. Thank you to all my coaches, friends, opponents and family for allowing me this journey.
