Started jiu-jitsu in 2001 with Alliance Helsinki after training in boxing since 1992 and kickboxing and Hokutoryu style jiu-jitsu for some years.
Got my blue belt from Lucio Linhares the regular way, but moved away to Germany and trained BJJ and Luta livre (Dortmund and Mülheim) there for a year around 2007 - 2008. Got my purple belt from Alliance in 2010, but moved away to Mikkeli and eventually got my brown and black belts from Brasa in 2014 and 2017 by never having a break unless due to an injury or sickness.
Then lived some years in Vilnius Lithuania, regularly taught classes at A-force gym where I was one of the local founders, before moving back to Mikkeli Finland to continue my journey. Over 30 years of martial arts.
